half (1065) of the state's 1967 associate of applied science (AAS) degree programs
are Tech-Prep, articulated with one or more high school career and technology
education programs. Of these programs, 108 (14%) are Information Technology, 133
(17%) are Health Science, and 157 (20%) are Business, Management, Administration.

two-year public colleges or universities in Texas the summer or fall after high
school graduation; almost 67% entered within two years. These rates are higher

There were $36 million in potential equivalent tuition and fees saved by Tech-Prep

by the state of Texas totaling a potential savings of $70 million for the people
